April 22nd, 2007A Hounslow car dealership has been recognised for its outstanding customer service and commitment to helping disabled people.
Dagenham Motors in London Road, Hounslow, is part of Ford Retail which won Dealer Group of the Year at an awards ceremony recently held by Motability, the national car scheme for disabled motorists.
Speaking about their success, Ravinder Kumar, the Hounslow dealership’s Motability sales specialist, said: “We’re thrilled to have received this award.
“It’s excellent recognition for our Motability specialists, who are dedicated to ensuring our disabled customers get the best from the scheme using our expert knowledge and hands-on experience. Our investment in vehicle adaptation and disability awareness training to ensure they understand the specific needs of disabled motorists was a key factor in winning the award.”
The UK Motability car scheme provides a new car complete with tax, insurance, RAC breakdown cover, servicing and free replacement tyres to disabled people and their families.
Anyone who receives the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement is eligible for a car on the scheme. There are no further medical assessments or credit checks required.
